The Fairfield County Mom Team.

Meet Your Fairfield County Mom Team

Michelle

Michelle :: Owner & Editor

Michelle is the Owner and Editor of Fairfield County Mom and Westchester County Mom. Born and raised in Norwalk, she now lives in Fairfield, CT, with her husband, Chris, whom she married in 2008, back when she thought she was “busy.” Fast forward to life with her son Shane (2011), twins Blake and Brynn (2013), a black Lab named Hank, and a Frenchie named Bruce, and she now laughs at her pre-mom self. By day, Michelle is a second grade team leader at a local public school, which means she’s a chaos-managing, data-collecting superhero in sensible shoes. By night, she’s a list-making, laundry-folding, sideline-cheering multitasker who runs on coffee and Diet Coke (RIP tequila). She believes in storytelling, building community, and finding the humor in this wild ride called motherhood (preferably from the quiet of her parked car).

Elisabeth

Elisabeth :: Sponsorship Coordinator

Elisabeth is a mom of three daughters (2010, 2013, and 2016) who lives in Fairfield with her husband, Andrew. She grew up in Litchfield County and moved to Fairfield in 2014. Elisabeth was previously an elementary school teacher but now teaches part-time at a local preschool. She also is the Sponsorship Coordinator for Fairfield County Mom and enjoys working with local businesses. She loves to bake and cook, go to the beach with her family, jam out to country music, and drink cocktails with friends!
Lindsay

Lindsay :: Social Media Coordinator

Lindsay is a first-time mom to daughter Kamila (2021), married her (almost) high school sweetheart, Dan, in 2015 (although they started dating in 2005!), and lives with their two crazy dogs, a chihuahua (Chico) and a pittie (Dallas) in Norwalk. She is also a business owner in partnership with her sister in the retail environment. She loves to vacation in Sebago Lake, ME, where she spent most of her childhood summers, and is excited for her daughter to have the same experience. She loves to be outdoors, taking the dogs off leash, cooking, and spending time with friends to decompress from this crazy mom life!
contributor headshot - Maria

Maria :: Senior Contributor

Maria is a high school English teacher who naturally finds herself reflecting upon the routine and randomness that accompany each day as a working mommy. She relies upon humor and some sort of chocolate or frozen treat as survival tactics. She and her husband live in East Norwalk with their three kids, Abbie (2012), Charlie (2014), and Phoebe (2018). You can find Maria F. driving in her beloved dream car, a minivan, listening to audiobooks during her commute, or playing DJ and climate controller when she’s shuttling her kids around town. Forever a sorority girl and Ohio State Buckeye, she will (almost) always choose socializing over chilling on the couch.
Caroline

Caroline :: Senior Contributor

Caroline is a mom of four, D born in 2011 (a son who left us at 3-years-old after significant medical issues), H born in 2013 (daughter), and A & M born in 2016 (twin daughters). Originally from Westchester, she and her husband settled in Wilton in 2010. She became a stay-at-home mom after D was born. She serves on the board of STAR Inc. and is also very involved with the Ronald McDonald House of the Greater Hudson Valley, where she stayed for almost three months. She enjoys reading, tennis, cooking, baking, and grocery shopping!
Daria

Daria :: Senior Contributor

Daria lives in Norwalk with her husband, son (2015), and daughter (2017). She grew up in Connecticut (Hartford County) but spent most of her adult life in New York City and traveling the world until moving back to Connecticut with her husband when they started their family. Daria juggles two young kids and a full-time international career. When she’s not spending time with her family or working, she’s daydreaming about where she’ll travel next.

In her life before children, Charity was a professional stage manager, working in theatres throughout Fairfield County. Charity is passionate about her family, career, ballet (which she began at 39 years old!), musical theatre, and her amazingly-supportive friends as she begins a new chapter in her life. She firmly believes that you are never too old to stay stuck in a situation that is causing you pain. You can follow her on Instagram at @charityferris.
Lauren

Jamie

Jamie :: Senior Contributor

Jamie is a mom to a daughter (2014) and boy/girl twins (2016). She was born and raised in Westchester County, NY and together with her husband (married in 2011), made Danbury, CT their hometown. Jamie is a real estate agent with William Raveis Real Estate. In the present day, more than ever before, “home” is an essential and safe place in an ever-changing world. Helping clients achieve their homeownership goals, searching for the home that’s “just right,” or helping them move on from a home that no longer serves them drives Jamie in her real estate career. Home for Jamie is Northern Fairfield County, and she never gets tired of spending time in the community with her family, visiting her favorite parks, and exploring local shops and restaurants. Jamie can be found on the Peloton leaderboard at 6:30 every morning, which fuels her long days of work and momming. Morning workouts are as athletic as she gets, and her favorite thing is tucking her children in at night and catching up on whatever show she is streaming. As much as she loves staying in, she doesn’t pass up a night out with her childhood girlfriends or a date night with her hubby.

By day she’s a school administrator; by morning/night, she’s a taxi for her kids’ activities. In her “free time,” she enjoys being in her pool or hiking with her family, listening to 80s/90s hip-hop, watching the Bills game, and sharing sarcastic mom memes with friends.
Amber

Amber :: Contributor

Amber is a stay-at-home mom who lives in Trumbull with her husband, Kevin, and two very active boys. After moving from Queens, she can’t imagine living anywhere else. As a homeschooling mom and habitual list-maker, she’s learning to savor a slower pace of life, and making memories along the way, even if it means not getting everything done.

A self-proclaimed “hot mess mom,” she seeks to find the funny side of parenting and shed light on the fact that being a parent is challenging and hilarious at the same time. You can find her on the running trail in her spare time with a single or double running stroller and a “tiny coach” or two in tow. You may even catch her chatting with her backyard chickens and Henry, the rooster.
