NATIONAL COMPUTER CAMP AT FAIRFIELD UNIVERSITY

National Computer Camp (NCC) has been America’s original computer camp since 1977. Held at Fairfield University, NCC offers in-person, residential camps, full-day camps, and morning-only day camps. The coed campers ages 6-18 may attend 1, 2, 3, or 4 weeks without repetition. The camp’s focus is coding, game design, Android App programming, and web page design. NCC offers beginner- to advanced-level programming in age-appropriate programming languages, including Java, C++, Python, and more. An optional recreation/sports program is also available. Additional activities include drone flying, an Arduino computer lab, 3D printing, robotics, chess, and popular AI activities. The camps are ideal for both experienced and first-time campers. NCC is not a summer school but a place where learning and fun are combined. Scholarships are available, but funds are limited, so register early.

Make Modern
At Make-Modern’s summer camp, kids spend their days immersed in creativity—sewing, crafting, fiber arts, and hands-on projects that build real confidence and real skills. ONE RIVER SCHOOL OF ART AND DESIGN

One River

At One River, summer is a time for creativity, exploration, and confidence-building through art. Their summer camp program offers an immersive, contemporary art experience for students of all skill levels, with thoughtfully designed camps that encourage experimentation, skill development, and self-expression. With over 90 unique camp options—including many new studio and digital camps launching this summer—families can build a schedule that reflects their child’s interests, age, and experience. Camp runs from June 15 through August 21. Ages served are K–2nd grade, grades 3–5, grades 6–12, and grades 9–12 (including advanced options). Daily camp sessions run from Morning: 9:30–12:00 p.m., Afternoon: 12:30–3:00 p.m., and Evening: 3:30–6:00 p.m. They offer flexible scheduling with early drop-off and full-day options. Rising Starr Horse Rescue saves, rehabilitates, retrains, and rehomes abandoned, neglected, or abused horses. They educate the public about at-risk horses and the importance of protecting them. Giving America’s horses a second chance at life allows the community to experience the love, patience, and compassion horses have for humans. They offer programs for children of all ages.

Long Ridge Camp in Stamford is Fairfield County’s leading summer day camp, offering a traditional day camp experience to campers from Fairfield and Westchester Counties ages 3 to 14. Do you love to sing? Fairfield A Cappella Camp is back for its third summer! Fairfield A Cappella uses fun and engaging methods to teach your singer how to perform with confidence. Learn professional vocal techniques while building new friendships and singing popular songs you love. Each week-long session ends with a special camp performance. Fairfield A Cappella Camp is presented by Greenwich A Cappella. No previous experience is needed; singers of all levels are welcome. Grouped by age, the Fairfield A Cappella Camp program is perfect for all rising kindergarten through sixth graders who love to sing. SPRGOLF JR. ACADEMY

SPRGolf Jr. Academy is a summer clinic by Stephen Roach and staff at Fairchild Wheeler Golf Course in Fairfield, CT. This action-packed camp includes hands-on instruction led by passionate male and female teachers. Students receive on-course play time, driving-range instruction, indoor video room tips, short-game practice, and engaging drills. Clinics will have a 6-to-1 ratio, and sessions will run for 10 consecutive weeks (June 15th to August 21st), offering half- and full-day clinics. Pee Wee Sessions ages 4-6 and regular sessions ages 7–16.

RISING STARS PERFORMING ARTS

Rising Stars Performing Arts (RSPA) is offering a dynamic lineup of daytime intensives and evening Summer Stock productions for students from kindergarten through college. RSPA’s summer programming is rooted in professional-level training, high artistic standards, and a strong emphasis on ensemble, technique, and storytelling. This summer’s offerings span a wide range of ages and experience levels. Younger performers will begin their journey with engaging, age-appropriate programs such as Bugz! (grades K–2) and The Best Little Theatre in Town (grades 3–7), which introduces foundational skills in singing, acting, and movement while culminating in a fully staged performance. Additional daytime programs, including On the Shoulders of Giants and Broadway Bound / Broadway Bound Junior, continue RSPA’s commitment to developing confident, versatile young artists through immersive musical theatre training. For advanced middle school, high school, and college-level performers, RSPA is excited to offer two evening Summer Stock productions: You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Revised) and Lovers. These audition-based productions are designed to mirror a professional rehearsal process, emphasizing advanced vocal technique, character development, ensemble collaboration, and performance stamina. We like keeping kids busy when they are out of school! Rock Climb Fairfield’s Climbing Camp programs are week-long indoor rock climbing camps designed for climbers of all abilities. Whether your climbers are new to the sport or ready to start climbing to the next level, this camp provides a fun and age-appropriate environment to build the fundamentals of indoor rock climbing. CENTER STAGE THEATRE

Center Stage Theatre offers summer camp for students entering grades K-8 who love to sing, dance, and act. One- and two-week sessions take place Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to noon with a free showcase for family and friends on the final day. All students receive a t-shirt. Each session features a different theme. Center Stage Theatre is an inclusive, intergenerational, community-based theatre that provides high-quality, affordable performances, educational programming for youth and adults, and volunteer opportunities. Located in Shelton, Connecticut, the theatre produces five full-scale productions a year, including its annual summer musical featuring performers aged 14-23, as well as year-round theatre education and performance opportunities for students in grades K-12. Now in its 21st season, Center Stage is a 501(c)3 non-profit theatre attracting actors and audiences from throughout Fairfield and New Haven counties. It was honored by Connecticut Magazine’s annual “Best of CT 2025” round-up in the Best Theatrical Venue – Small category. The organization was founded in 2005 by Gary and Francesca Scarpa.

IST Sports Headquarters is Fairfield County’s premier year-round sports and summer camp destination for preschoolers and children ages 5–12. This summer’s exciting day camp lineup features Tot N Play Camp, a preschool program held at the beautiful Burying Hill Beach in Westport, CT, along with sports camps for children who love pro baseball, football, basketball, and multi-sport activities. IST summer camp sports camps are for children ages 5–12. Tot N Play Camp is open to all potty-trained preschool children. All camps are conveniently located in Westport, CT. Camps run all summer long, with registration opening on March 11th.
