If you are looking for a cupcake spot for your next party or just because, here is a round-up of some of the best and most inventive cupcake shops in Fairfield County and beyond. Enjoy!

Bonkers Cupcakes  {Fairfield}

Flavors to try are Vanilla with Passion Fruit, Vanilla with Orange, and Red velvet with cream cheese. They have vegan and gluten-free options are available.

The Cake Box {Ridgefield & Westport}

All cupcakes are available as gluten-free, with some vegan options as well. They create truly unique flavors. You must try the sweet and salty Mochaccino and the Palm Tree.

Alina’s {Fairfield}

Alina’s just celebrated ten years in business! Choosing just one flavor is hard, but we recommend the Lemon and Coconut, Peanut Butter & Jelly, and the Dulce de Leche. Gluten-free options are available.

Lovely Cakes  {Stratford} 

They serve made-to-order cupcakes from scratch with mix-and-match flavors. Frosting flavors such as Bailey’s Irish Cream, Key Lime, Kahlua, Raspberry, and Pumpkin Spice are incredible. They are the winner of Food Network’s Cake Wars.

Sweet Cupcasions  {Milford}

Creating unique twists on classic flavors. Try the I Love Lucy, 14K, and All About Ethel.

Good Morning Cupcake  {Milford}

A mini cupcake vendor in Milford with gluten-free and vegan options. Decadent Creamsicle, Honey Strawberry, Blueberry Pancake, and Boston Cream Pie flavors should be added to your list! The owner, Adrianna, makes this business come alive.

NoRA Cupcake Company {Middletown}

They offer 200 plus flavors, including Cotton Candy, Apple Cobbler, Lemon Drop, and Raspberry Lemonade. The menu changes daily. Yum!

Hardcore Sweet  {Watertown}

The winner of Food Networks Season 9 Cupcake Wars. Must-try flavors are the Toasted Almond, Samoa, and Clobberin’ Lime.
