It’s officially the start of the holiday season, and what better way to kick off the celebrations than a round-up of our favorite local tree farms?

Welcome the holiday magic with a trip to one (or more) of these beautiful farms. 

Maple Row Farm, Easton

This elegant farm is nestled away in the beautiful town of Easton. They offer cut-your-own tree services along with some fun holiday experiences. A great place to be to enjoy some holiday cheer!

Silverman’s Farm, Easton

Silverman’s Farm is well known for its Fall Festivities; however, they’re also a winter staple! This is your place if you’re looking for a beautiful, pre-cut Christmas tree. They offer several varieties and even have decor available in their gift shop. Also available are pies, seasonal fruits and vegetables, and beautifully crafted wreaths. Don’t forget to check out the animal farm before you head home!

Jones Family Farms, Shelton

Jones is a Connecticut staple. It’s a highly reputable, highly frequented, famed nestled away in the hills of Shelton. Jones offers cut-your-own-tree services or allows for the purchase of pre-cut trees. They have beautiful holiday decor scattered throughout the grounds and house Jones Winery where gifts can be purchased for the vino lovers in your life. It’s a cute little spot with loads of character and opportunities for perfect family memories.

Castle Hill Farm, Newtown

Castle Hill Farm is open during scheduled periods throughout each season. Their cut-your-own tree services begin the weekend after Thanksgiving and run through December 23rd. They offer a variety of other goodies for purchase and are home to over 40 acres of land, which you are free to explore!

CT Audubon Tree Farm, Westport

This beautiful farm is tucked away just off I-95 south in quaint Westport. They offer a cut-your-own-tree service and gift shop experience. You can purchase wreaths, decor, and firewood bundles, to name a few. This is a hidden gem, and a portion of the proceeds benefits the Audubon Society and its commitment to conservation and education. The perfect place to celebrate the season of giving!
