Love your car? Hate setting up oil changes and other small jobs for it? Me too! Like most moms, the idea of trying to set up an oil change is almost as bad as trying to get to my dentist or optometrist, yet equally as important. That’s why I jumped at the chance to receive an oil change service with a tire rotation and complete vehicle safety check from the Mobile Mechanic.
The owner Jordan Ranney is the answer to all our prayers. He is a dad of 2 young kids (ages 3 and 4), who has been in the mechanic business for over 10 years. The idea for the Mobile Mechanic came to him about a year ago when he realized, as a parent of young children, how hard it can be to arrange car maintenance. With the support of his wife, Jordan started his business. He is a professional, who brings back the olden years of businesses; he actually talks to his customers, listens to their needs, and truly gets pleasure out of helping others. The best part…he comes to you AND works weekends!!!
When Jordan arrived at my house at 9:30am on a Saturday, it was a wonderful experience from the start. After a quick conversation to get to know me and the car he would be working on, I was able to continue to do things I needed to get done around the house, while Jordan got to work. My three year old car lover sat in the window watching the whole time; double win! In about an hour, my car was completed, my laundry was drying, and my son got a quick lesson in mechanics. Don’t be fooled that this was a less than thorough job. Jordan did all the things my drop off mechanics does: topped of windshield wiper fluid, checked and filled tires, in addition to changing the oil. He also told me he has rented out space for more intense jobs; there’s nothing Jordan can’t do!
What a pleasurable experience it was to work with the Mobile Mechanic! Why not give him a try and save yourself he hassle of leaving the house? Mobile Mechanic can be reached at [email protected] , http://mobilemechanicct.com/, “like” them on Facebook, or call 203-727-3707.
