Pure BarreAs a full-time working mom, I always seek the most effective way to work out in the least amount of time. I need to get the most bang for my sweat bucks. And with the New Year right around the corner, I don’t think I’m alone when I say that I am already starting to think about resolutions, one of which is to work out more.

So when my friends at Pure Barre Westport and Pure Barre Fairfield asked me to share information about their Pure Resolution program, I was excited! Over the course of the last year, Pure Barre classes have helped me make the most of my workout goals in just 55 minutes per class.

I was first introduced to Pure Barre Westport in November 2013 when their Living Social deal entered my inbox. Intrigued and curious about a barre workout, I scooped up a 10-pack of classes and headed to the barre.

What is Pure Barre? It’s low-impact, isometric movements that target and tone certain areas of your body. By taking Pure Barre classes, you burn calories and gain lean muscle. Using light hand weights, a double resistance band, a small ball, and a mat, a Pure Barre instructor leads you through these tiny moves {like only an inch tiny} with fun music playing in the studio.

Pure Barre’s motto is to lift, tone, burn, and trust me; you’ll be burning soon into the class, in a good way.  Ask any instructor, and they’ll tell you that Pure Barre is the fastest, most effective, yet safest way to change your body. You’ll see results in as little as ten classes. I saw and felt results in about that same amount of time. It’s a challenging workout, but anyone can do it. I took some classes this summer pregnant.

What makes Pure Barre different from other workout classes is the sense of community it creates. Pure Barre clients are intelligent, dynamic, and fun-spirited women, each with a different reason for walking into the studio. This community celebrates each other and recognizes achievements, like those clients who have completed 100+ classes, for example.

And let’s not forget about the incredible instructors!  Super friendly and sweet, they make a point to remember your name and give you some one-on-one attention in class.  There’s a class to accommodate everyone’s schedule, ranging from 5:30 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. over the course of the week.

Pure Barre can even help you do your holiday shopping! They have an extensive collection of retail apparel from brands like Nancy Rose Performance, Splits 59, Beyond Yoga, KarmaWear, and more. We’re talking really cute gear that will help you show off the results of your hard work!

So back to my New Year’s resolution — what is Pure Resolution? It’s a chance for you to commit to yourself.  Allow yourself to make some changes to your body.  I can’t wait to take advantage of this program. It’s only $350 for unlimited classes from January 1st through February 28th. That’s 59 days. 59 chances to lift, tone, and burn for under $6 a day. Current Pure Barre clients can also take advantage of this offer.  Sign up before December 25th and receive a Pure Barre Tervis tumbler and sticky socks to use in class.

Pure Barre is so much more than just a workout class. It’s a lifestyle. Hope to see you at the Barre soon!
