Hi! I am Dani, a Fairfield County Mom! I am a wife to my husband Stephen and a mom to three kids and 20 animals. Haley (9), Emma (5), Austin (3), a dog, two cats, a mini pig, a bunny, and reptiles. Fairfield County is near and dear to my heart. My husband and I were both born and raised in Westport, Staples graduates and are current self-employed business owners based here in Fairfield County.

I welcome you all to join our big, crazy, loud, and lovable family! In our family, we most definitely are thriving in chaos.

My husband has owned a custom woodworking business for over 12 years, and I own a small hair studio. I can also bring the studio to your home. I love all things Disney and being involved in the PTA. I will be president-elect for our school next year, and I am always a room mom for my kids’ classes. Being involved in the school gives me such joy to see my girls during the day and help the teachers with the day-to-day.

But the question I always get is, how do I do it all?

That is a good question! My husband and I truly make a great team. We are constantly in contact about who is where, what, and when. That’s not to say schedules do not change on the fly. I also have an incredible support system. My parents are still in Westport and are super involved in my kids’ lives, as well as friends and a few sitters to fill in the blanks.

In our home, we have created systems on when the kids and animals are fed and who is doing the feeding. My kids get involved in feeding our animals every day. It’s good for them! We also have created systems for what gets cleaned on what day. Laundry, however, always seems to be the task that gets left behind until someone yells at me that they do not have underwear or their favorite pants are still dirty.

Creating a system that works for us became especially apparent when we brought a mini teacup pig into our home. Sundays are our definite haul day. Our kids participate in changing litters, cleaning and bathing animals, and, most importantly, ensuring they have their favorite foods.

Another thing that helps me thrive in chaos is grocery delivery. I do not know about you, but I rarely enter a grocery store. The option to deliver groceries is a total game changer in our busy lives. However, in our family, everyone pitches in, and teamwork means all hands are always on deck.

We all help each other and communicate our family members’ needs, which most definitely includes our animals.

We truly love our busy and chaotic life. We love to bring the joy of our animals to our kids’ lives and the lives of all who visit our home!
