Emma Snowball-Robinson, APRN, started PURE in 2014 with the goal of creating an environment where clients feel comfortable while providing complete transparency of all the aspects of treatment.
Emma’s first exposure to aesthetics came as a model in the fashion industry. Working with top photographers like Arthur Elgort, Patrick Demarchelier, and Steven Meisel taught her the critical roles that contour, shape, volume, and structure play in beauty.
“What was unique about working with these photographers was seeing how they utilized light and angles to enhance someone’s natural beauty (we didn’t have Photoshop in those days),” says Emma. “Today, I use different tools, but I always try to approach my clients with the same goal. How do I highlight the individual beauty in each person while maintaining the integrity of their natural appearance?”
As an APRN, she started her career in the OR. This experience gave her critical insight into the importance of sterility and understanding facial anatomy to ensure the safest and most effective results. Emma states, “The intersection of art and science fascinates me. Growing up around these two very different industries gave me a unique perspective on both.” 
This foundation built on art and science influences Emma’s approach to all aesthetic treatments at PURE Medical Aesthetics today.
