Happy Pride Month! June is a month for showing support to the LGBTQIA+ community, and Fairfield County has several events going on. I choose to celebrate Pride Month with my family because I have a transgender child, but even if no one in your house belongs to the LGBTQIA+ community, these pride events are still fun. Local events such as these allow you to teach your children about diversity and inclusion. We show them that being an ally to any minority allows those folks to lift their voices for a better world. It shows our families how we respect and care for all.
These are just some reasons why you should take your family to these pride events in Fairfield County.
