My love of French fries runs deep. I love fries of all kinds – thick, thin, curly, sweet, fast food, or restaurant fries. Since becoming a vegetarian in eighth grade, my go-to meal at a restaurant is a salad and a side of fries – the best of both worlds.
In honor of National French Fry Day (July 13), I wanted to share my love of fried potatoes and round up some of the best spots for fries in Fairfield County.
The subject of fries brought up great debate questions to ask your friends. Best fast-food fry, best chain restaurant fry, to dip or not to dip, opinion of the lack of seasoning on Chick-fil-A fries, and even “gasp” those who don’t order fries at restaurants or need them with their meal. Where do you stand on such subjects?
